the move is mostly done and…new paintings

We have landed on Lasqueti. An adventure it was, with only a few casualties and nothing lost in the depths of Sabine Channel. A herring skiff loaded to the brim departed from Secret Cove on the Sunshine Coast on a calm and overcast day and landed a couple hours later at the beautiful Tucker Bay. The many hands that got us there are not forgotten -Aiden, Katherine and Fiona, in particular. Internet access is intermittent right now so updates will come as I am able. There is great internet reception inconveniently locatedĀ  up on the ridge by the water tank. Right now is a time of adjustment…and trying to locate my misplaced sense of humour. Any suggestions about how to jump start it are greatly appreciated.

In the meantime, here are a few of the paintings that I have been working on in the last couple of months. They are small and intimate and meditative. I have been exploring different mediums from Gamblin with varied success. I will post photos of the results. In the very near future, look for a new batch of objects and special things coming soon both here and on my etsy site which is were you will be able to purchase them for the time being, unless you contact me directly.

La, la, la, love on this beautiful September day.
